Can Pets Tell If A Guy Is Right For You?
I have two cats and I love them dearly, but they can be a pain. However, I am convinced that they know how to tell whether a person is right or wrong for me.
Whenever I was dating someone new, I would bring him to my house eventually. I knew that my cat, Steve, would let me know if he was right.
I’ve received mixed messages from Steve before, but there were two times he let me know he didn’t like the guy I was with.
Steve is usually a friendly cat, and he will rub up against your leg even if he doesn’t know you yet. But one time, Steve sat on the ledge and gave this guy the evil eye the whole night. He didn’t move a muscle, he just kept staring at him. Needless to say, it didn’t work out.
The other time I was with someone and Steve hated him. He ran and hid and one time even sprayed on me. I think that was his way of telling me to get that guy the heck out of there.
I’ve never seen Steve take a liking to anyone except recently. Steve isn’t a lap cat, he’ll rarely sit on my lap and when he does, I can’t move or pet him or he’ll get up. But I recently had the guy I’m dating over and Steve loves him. He curled right up on his lap and purred away. It was a surprise to see it, and when I tell my friends and family what he did, they are shocked as well. Maybe he is what Steve (and myself) have been waiting for.
So yes, I think animals can let you know if someone is right for you. It’s up to you whether or not you want to follow the advice they try to give you.

Yes, animals are a good judge of character more so than we are. They have a sense for that.
Pets can TOTALLY tell. My girlfriend has a cat, Sasha, and once there was a guy sleeping over. Normally Sasha is very standoffish and avoids company. Sasha didn’t leave this guy alone until he eventually high-tailed it out of there in the middle of the night!
