Text Message Relationships

Published by dianae at 1:05 am under General Edit This

I’ll admit it. I love text messaging. It’s the best way to communicate with someone if you don’t feel like talking to them on the phone.

But what happens when you realize you are in a text message relationship? You know what I’m talking about, where you only meet up every so often but text many times a day. You come to rely on your phone as your ’significant other’, so to say.

So how do you fix this? First, take the initiative to make a move and ask him out. Maybe he’s unsure if you really want to get together, or he could be too shy to ask you out and text messaging seems more comfortable to him.

Find out why he would rather text than talk to you or hang out with you. Maybe he’s just not a phone person, which is okay because many people don’t like to talk on the phone.  Either that, or he’s trying to hide something by only ever being available through text.

Either way, if you’re content with a text message relationship, go for it. But trust me, it’ll get old soon. I know a few people going through that right now, and they say it sucks.
