Connecting With Old Friends

Published by dianae at 12:03 am under General Edit This

It’s always good to have a close circle of friends, but sometimes you may want to branch out and find a different group to hang out with. We all remember the good times we had back in school, so one option may be to try out those popular friend sites like MySpace and Facebook.

I have a MySpace page and I’ve used it to connect with people I went to high school with. I’ve also made some new friends on it as well. MySpace and Facebook can be fun as well as addicting, so be careful. I’ve also had some of my friends meet potential ‘dates’ on MySpace, so I guess it can be used as an online hookup too.

But back to making friends, on MySpace you can create a profile and state your interests and update it as to where you are in your life right now. If you’re worried about the whole world seeing your profile, you can make it private so only the friends that you list on your page can see it.

I also have a Facebook page, but really don’t have any experience with that other than my family overseas finding me and connecting with them. But try either of these out, and you may reconnect with that crazy cool friend you used to have back in school.

I’m not such a fan of myspace. I kind of can’t stand it anymore. I’m a biiiig fan of facebook though.
