Not Sure About Unsolved Mysteries
So, I have decided that I don’t like the new Unsolved Mysteries. Why?
Because it’s boring.
I don’t really like the new guy hosting it, Dennis Farina. I mean, it’s not his fault or anything, but he’s just not scary enough.
He’s nothing like Robert Stack, the old host of the show, pictured below:
This guy rocked the trenchcoat and always had a dramatic pausing effect on his words. Now THAT’S what made it scary.
Also, as I’ve mentioned before, the theme music. This new music is weak, nothing to take a second listen to.
The old music was a toss between Friday the 13th and Halloween. When I heard that music coming, I knew it was time to curl under the blankets with my stuffed animal dog named appropriately named Killer.
Will I watch Unsolved Mysteries on the Spike channel at 5pm and 6pm every day? Probably. But only if there’s absolutely nothing else on, or nothing else to do.
I give the new Unsolved Mysteries a thumbs-down.
