Are You Kidding Me?

When it comes to excuses from men, I’ve pretty much heard them all. Which has led to me not believing pretty much what people say.

With the Smooth Talker, he was always ‘losing’ or ‘breaking’ his phone at work, which was why he constantly needed my phone number again to call me. I didn’t buy his excuses at all, but couldn’t figure out why he kept losing my number from his phone. My guess is that he had to delete it when one of the many girls he dates saw his phone or something.

His last excuse was that he washed and dried it by accident when doing his laundry. So I told him that was the last time I was going to give him my number, and it has been. I won’t do it again, even now when he comes in with his ’sad’ face on.

Over at Things Men Say, she recently went out with a guy a few times and then stopped hearing from him. When she sent him a message to find out what was going on, he wrote back saying he had gotten hit by a car and broke some ribs.

I don’t know, I just wouldn’t believe an excuse like that. Some men will go to great lengths in order to carry out their lies. As ridiculous as they sound to us, sometimes these guys think we’ll believe them instantly.
