Today is the Only Day I Don’t Shop
Today I stayed home and did absolutely nothing. I had all these plans to do stuff, but just sat on the couch all day mostly writing some articles and watching movies. It’s kind of nice to do that once in awhile. I guess I got some work done, but nothing I had planned.
A friend called me up today and invited me to go shopping. I politely declined, because there was no way I was going out on Black Friday. I don’t care how many deals there are out there, I can’t stand crowds and crowds of people, and usually get cranky and mean when forced into a large crowd, so I decided to give society a break today and stay home.
Anyways, the friend that had called is one I haven’t talked to in awhile, and she called me to ask about eHarmony, because she heard I had signed up. She just wanted to know basic questions about it, but it got us talking about meeting people for the first time. She said that recently she met someone from Pennsylvania, so now that she got that one meeting out of the way, she wasn’t afraid to meet anyone else.
I hope it’s like that for me the first time I meet someone there. Since I’m not used to meeting people over the Internet, it’s kind of a new thing for me.
Does the whole eHarmony process seem like one big long interview? ![]()
