Are You Kidding Me?

So….my friend is going to break up with her boyfriend today because she just isn’t happy. I think they’ve only been together a few months, but she’s seen some signs that make her uncomfortable. I say…good for her in getting out early.

She wants to meet him in a public place to do it, instead of at either of their houses, so they are meeting somewhere today and she wants me to go there with her. We won’t arrive together or anything, I’m just going to bring a book, get some pop or something and sit there and read.

I’m not even going to look around for her, because of course I’d make it obvious, but if I happen to see her I’ll keep an eye on things. I told her to text me when she leaves so I know she’s gone.

She’s actually on her way over to my place now because they aren’t meeting for another few hours. I have nothing else to do today, so I’m more than happy to go. Even if I had something to do, I’d cancel and still go up there with her because I know she’s nervous about him causing a scene or getting really angry or something.

I’ve never met the guy, so I don’t know who I’m looking for. But it’ll be nice to just sit somewhere and know that some type of drama is going on. Well, not a nice thing, but still. I’ll be there for a reason.

I think I hear her pulling in now. I’ll let you know how it goes.
