Locking the Doors After Scary Movies

Published by dianae at 4:34 am under Uncategorized Edit This

So, last night my sister and I rented The Strangers. I had heard it was really scary, so I wanted to see it being that scary movies are my favorite thing in the whole world. Besides peanut butter, of course.

Anyways, I don’t know why we do this to ourselves. We are the biggest wimps on the planet, and get scared like little babies once it turns dark outside.

So we’re watching the movie, and I’m trying to scare her by making noise at the quiet parts. I think she was getting scared which is why she got pissed off at me.

I liked the movie, it was really good and scary, but I didn’t like the ending. It was incomplete and I hate that. But anyways, there was still the issue of my sister getting to her car to drive home. So of course she makes me walk out with her. So we walk out my door, and I wasn’t going to lock it, but she scared me that someone might walk into my place while we are at her car.

So I go and lock it, and then remember I didn’t lock my porch door either, so I run in and lock that too. So on the way down the stairs, I’m coming up with a plan of attack in case someone is outside ready to kill us. The plan is ‘Run because you’re on your own’.

So we get outside, and I’m clutching onto her arm and looking behind us, while she’s looking in front of us. We run to her car, quickly get in and she locks the doors. She starts the car up and proceeds to drive about 20 feet to my front door.

I run out of the car, she re-locks her doors and I run inside, giving her the thumbs up that I got in okay. But she was long gone. I’m glad my sister cared so much to wait an extra second to see that I got inside safely. :P
