Why Do Some Men Do What They Do?

Published by dianae at 7:08 pm under General Edit This

So, I talked to one of my friends last night that I haven’t talked to for awhile. She was updating me on her current man situation.

About a month ago she met a guy off one of the dating websites and went to go see him in Pennsylvania. It took her like 3 hours to get there and they ended up going hiking, having dinner and going to a haunted house. Overall, she had a nice time that ended with a nice kiss.

Since her and I started talking again, she’s told me that since they met, he came to Ohio once to meet her friends, and that was about it. A few weeks ago he told her that he wanted to be friends because he had a lot of issues going on in his life and didn’t want to hurt her. Okay, fine.

So I guess she talked to him the other night, and he told her how he had gone out with this girl, and started talking about the date he had with this girl. Well, this upset my friend and she kind of blurted out something like ‘Well why won’t you date me?’ And once again, she got the lame excuse that he likes her too much to hurt her.

I don’t know. If you know a girl likes you and you don’t like her back, why torture her telling her about the date you just had with another girl? Is he playing games? One of her other friends gave her the advice that he probably didn’t go out with another girl, he just wanted to see what her reaction would be.

I disagree. I’m sure he went out with someone else, and is just thinking of my friend as just a friend, nothing more. He probably thought it would be okay to talk to her about stuff like that.

Now my friend is back to being upset by this guy all over again. Some guys need to learn.

Note: This ‘friend’ of mine, is NOT me. I would tell you if it was. :)
