Rain, Curly Hair, and The Frizzies
Why did it have to be 50 degrees today and rain the whole day?
I mean, I’ll take any warm weather I can get when it’s wintertime, but today just sucked.
Why? Because I hate wearing a hood when I’m outside. You see, my hair is naturally curly, and I straighten it so I can look semi-cool (in my eyes at least). When the first drop of rain hits my hair, I get immediate frizz. And not the cool kind, even though I don’t think frizz can ever be considered cool. I mean, my hair goes into afro-mode and then just starts irritating my neck.
I think the last time I wore it curly was about five years ago, until I found the hairdresser that was my angel and introduced me to a straightener.
So yes, I’m like the Wicked Witch of the West (or was it East?) and I tend to melt when hit by rain.
