I Want To Rip My Throat Out

Published by dianae at 2:45 am under Uncategorized Edit This

Well, looks like my weekend is shot. I’ve been sitting here for 2 days now with a sore throat that looks HORRIBLE on the inside. I feel fine physically, it’s just my freaking throat.

I had my mom look in my mouth and she was like ‘oh my god’. Then I went to get a strep test and the nurse looked in my mouth and went ‘oh boy’. That made me feel a lot better. :P

Well, I don’t have strep throat, but I feel like there’s a sock in my mouth when I try to talk. So I haven’t been answering my phone much, which leaves me with talking through the computer. And that gets old after awhile.

So my mommy took me to the library today and I picked up some books I ordered. I think I’ll spend the whole weekend reading, since there’s nothing else I can really do.

I mean, I COULD spend time with my evil cat, but then he’ll want affection and all that girly stuff. Hmm, they say the way to get rid of a cold is to pass it on…I wonder if I could pass it on to my cat. He kinda deserves it for destroying my closet a few months ago.

Being sick SUCKS. I’m afraid to go to bed tonight because I know I’ll just toss and turn. :(

Take some NyQuil or do a shot of Whiskey and you will sleep just fine. Get some Vitamin C and try to cough up whatever you can. Youwill be fine in no time. Hope you feel better. Try some Honey and Tea. That really helps a soar throat that feels like a sock, haha! Take care of yourself! :-)

Time to settle in with a nice cup of hot tea spiked with a shot of brandy. Oh, wait, we were talking about you. Uhm…uh…what Dean said; go with the NyQuil.

Just kidding. Hope you feel better soon.
