Anyone Got a Tissue I Can Use?
As everyone knows, I love to Google things. That is mostly what I do when I’m bored. Recently I wrote an article on the topic of sneezing, which got me thinking.
What is a sneeze, really? Well, according to Wikipedia, a sneeze is defined as “a semi-autonomous, convulsive expulsion of air from the lungs, most commonly caused by foreign particles irritating the nasal mucosa.” That sure sounds like a lot, doesn’t it?
When I was younger, my friend and I used to stick Q-Tips up our nose, which would then tickle us, causing us to sneeze. We would have sleepovers at her house and do this while laughing, and I always remember her ‘Shh’-ing me to stop sneezing because we didn’t want her mom to wake up.
Sneezes can also make us feel good, as described by Narm over at White-Collar Redneck in his hilarious post simply titled Sneeze.
I came across some pictures that I thought I’d share with you. The article I had written was about how people that don’t cover their sneezes can infect up to 150 people with their cold. Well after looking at these pictures, I can see why.
That is probably the most disgusting picture I’ve ever seen. Check out all that spittle he’s spraying everywhere. It’s my luck that I’d get stuck next to this guy on the bus.
I’m sure these pictures were taken as part of a study or experiment, but I wonder what these guys thought after seeing their pictures. Wouldn’t you be embarrassed if this was posted all over the Internet? Or, does he include this in his portfolio when applying for a job?
Wow, I don’t think I usually sneeze with my mouth looking like that. And he’s got a straight shot there, no stray spittle from this guy. That sneeze looks like it hurt!
Really? This guy looks like someone just told him a funny joke and he spit his drink out everywhere. He could be one of those fire-breathing dragons, because his sneeze gets bigger the further out it expands. I think the further you move away from this guy, the faster his sneeze follows you.
Do you see why I Google things? Sometimes it can be really interesting. Did you learn something? I know I did…I never want anyone to see me sneeze.

I really try to be away from people when I sneeze. I hate having people sneeze on me.
I just had 64 comments, 63 of which were jewelry-related spam. Your opinion about the mayor getting a curfew was the 64th comment. I meant to approve it and I apologize for not doing so. If you’d be kind enough to post again, I’ll happily approve it. Sorry!
I have plenty of tissues for you to lend. Just don’t give them back!!!
Yuck!–That’s all I can say. This doesn’t help my semi-germaphobia.
