Tattoos and Twilight
So my friend and I had a discussion tonight, and I told her I was getting another tattoo and told her it was most likely going to go on the back of my neck. She said this was trashy, and that I should get it somewhere else. I disagree, I’ve seen a lot of girls with tattoos on the backs of their necks, and they look pretty darn cool. Anyone else have any opinions on this?
In other news, I haven’t been getting any writing done because I’ve been obsessed with finishing up the Twilight series.
I started reading the first book a long time ago, just when there was only one book. I loved it so much that I always remembered it. So a few weeks ago I ordered the second book, read that in one night and actually ran up to Borders and spent the money to get the last two in hardback. (I usually only buy paperback books, but couldn’t wait on this series).
I haven’t seen the movie yet, and don’t know if I want to because I keep hearing bad reviews on it. But this last book is just…..awesome. I went out tonight, and couldn’t wait to get home to read more of it. I have about 600 more pages to go, but I’m sure i’ll finish it by tomorrow.
Mmmmmhhhh, I don’t think the back of the neck is trashy unless you get a trashy tattoo, if that makes sense. Like if you got a pinup girl or something on the back of your neck (like I have witnessed on LA Ink/Miami Ink), that would be trashy. Any idea yet what you’ll be getting?
I suggest you see the movie and skip the last book - it was atrocious. But maybe it bothers you less that the characters ceased behaving any way that was established for them in three previous novels and that the final story is beyond ridiculous.
I don’t think the neck is trashy as long as it’s a small cute tatto you know? not a monster tatoo lo. I love twilight and the last book is so awsome I”m half way through! See the movie please, it’s so good. I promise. The reviews were shoty but regular people who saw it said it was really good, and it is. I have a some twilight movie stories on blog in my archive. I like your site it’s really entertaining.
Angi: No idea yet what I’m getting. I’m going to have to do some serious searching around…Vegas is only a few weeks away!
Trixie: Just finished the last book. It wasn’t that bad, but not as good as the second one (which was my favorite). I still plan on seeing the movie.

I’m definitely going to get something small on the back of my neck, just not sure what it is yet. As for Twilight, the last book was good, I just wish there was more of a surprise ending or something like that. Hope you enjoy it, I finished it in two days. 
I have a tattoo, a belly button ring, and a nose ring - all of which could be trashy and now that I write it down, it sounds trashy! But, my tattoo is where no one will see it; I don’t run around with my belly showing, and my nose ring is cute and small. I think it all depends on you and how you carry yourself. If you dress nicely and carry yourself well, I don’t think a neck tattoo is trashy. If you look and act like the chicks from Rock of Love, then I think you run the distinct risk of people thinking you are less than classy.
As for the last book of Twilight, I loved that everyone got their happy endings. It did upset me that Bella all of a sudden became this perfect creature with almost no conflict, but I am a sap at heart. I needed everyone to be okay, so for that reason, I really liked it.
