I have a tattoo, a belly button ring, and a nose ring - all of which could be trashy and now that I write it down, it sounds trashy! But, my tattoo is where no one will see it; I don't run around with my belly showing, and my nose ring is cute and small. I think it all depends on you and how you carry yourself. If you dress nicely and carry yourself well, I don't think a neck tattoo is trashy. If you look and act like the chicks from Rock of Love, then I think you run the distinct risk of people thinking you are less than classy.
As for the last book of Twilight, I loved that everyone got their happy endings. It did upset me that Bella all of a sudden became this perfect creature with almost no conflict, but I am a sap at heart. I needed everyone to be okay, so for that reason, I really liked it.

I suggest you see the movie and skip the last book - it was atrocious. But maybe it bothers you less that the characters ceased behaving any way that was established for them in three previous novels and that the final story is beyond ridiculous.
