Wasting the Days Away

Published by dianae at 7:07 pm under General Edit This

Well once again, I didn’t answer my phone or return any calls this weekend. I don’t know why I do this, I said I’d work on it, but my progress has just stayed the same.

That and I was playing Nintendo DS all weekend.

So my phone rings today and I finally decide to answer it. It was my friend calling to make sure I wasn’t mad at her or anything. I told her I was video gaming all weekend and she just sighed. Then we discussed the diet we recently went on and how I haven’t lost any weight. Then she reminded me that I’ve been sitting on my ass playing games all day.

So true.

So I went out today and bought a Yoga game for the DS. I figure if I’m going to be playing it, I’ll incorporate exercise into my gaming routine. Plus, I’ve always wanted to give Yoga a try, not so much for exercising, but more for obtaining piece of mind.

So instead of putting in the Yoga game, I put in a new one I bought where you are suturing people up that need operations. Two of my patients died, so I guess I shouldn’t go to med school anytime soon.

I’ll get back into a normal routine soon. I’m already starting to get back to writing, so at least my editors won’t get mad at me. :)

Meh, answering the phone and returning calls are overrated! ;-)

There is actually a yoga game for Nintendo? Wow, I think I’ve heard of everything now. If they ever make an elliptical machine game, I’m there…

Are you kidding me? (HA!) They have games where you suture people? I need that game. I have seen enough medical shows on TV that I’m sure I would be awesome at it. “Get me a CBC, Chem 7 and push 2 units of O-neg.”

Kev: Yes, there’s a Yoga AND Pilates game. Of course, I bought the Yoga game I didn’t want, and can’t find the one I DO want that is all over the Internet but not in stores.

Sarah: Yes, it’s actually fun and it stresses me out because there’s such a short time limit. And you have to keep administering some kind of injection when their vitals get low. I can’t stop playing it, yet it wears me out when I DO put it away for the night. :)
