Short Men Pretending to be Tall

Published by dianae at 9:18 pm under General Edit This

I cannot believe how cold it is today. I walked outside for a few minutes and my fingers froze!

How can I possibly be expected to look cute if I have a red blotchy face and a runny nose from this cold weather? :)

In other news, I seem to be getting matched up on eHarmony to men lately that are shorter than me. Sure, their height SAYS it’s the same as mine, but like I’ve sad before, I have a theory that most men lie about their height.

I was talking to my friend last night. We were supposed to go see a psychic but ended up not going because it was just too cold. So I was telling him about my theory with men’s heights and asked him how tall he was. He said between 5′8″ and 5′9″. So I said, Which is it, 5′8″ or 5′9″? He said probably closer to 5′8″, yet I think on his Eharm account he lists 5′9″. I guess an inch isn’t that big of a deal to some people, but it is to me. I’m 5′7″, but become taller when I put on shoes.

When I guy I meet says he’s a specific height, I like to be prepared and wear the appropriate shoes; either heels (my fav) or something low to the ground. When a guy misleads me about his height, then it becomes an embarrassing situation (at least for me). I was always taller than everyone else in high school and to this day still hate being taller than other people.

Yes, I have issues, I know, but at least I don’t lie about my height. Think of it like this: if a man lies about his height, what other measurements is he lying about also? ;)
